Huddersfield Student September issue available from the Union and across campus now
The September issue of Huddersfield Student has been available for just over a week now, and people seem to be responding positively to the change and size and the redesign.
While I enjoy hearing how well they think the newspaper team has done, there is always room for improvement. I’ve been over my copy with a red pen and picked out most of the things I hope to improve on for October.
One comment that is being made is regarding the quality of the pictures. While not all pictures are up to printing standard, I have made it my duty to use only high-resolution (300-dpi and above) images.
There was also, I have been told, some mistake in the printing. The full-page advertisements, for instance, appear to be of poor quality despite being well over the required 300-dpi standard.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any low-quality images, however, and assure you that, where I can control it, all images will be of the required quality henceforth.
